AUTUMN ZONE

KOREA take #_1

high tops & flats

"...There is one emotion that he considers the most important of all: contempt. If I speak from a superior plane, that's far more demanding ... A lot of time it's an insult... it's trying to put that person on a lower plane than you. It's hierarchical." _from the book Blink.

(DVF dress/ Vera Wang Lavender / Tarnish scarf )
How often do we express contempt towards our beloveds? unwillingly, and unconsciously...we probaly do it more than we'd preferred to admit. nevertheless, as long as you come to a realization, you are far better than those who don't :-)

I went to take a peek at my (or more rightfully my parents') apartment in Songdo, Incheon. Beautiful area, and skinny tall buildings reminded me of New York..only by a little bit. We even got our very own Central Park with floating cabs. pretty incredible. I'm starting to have a better picture of what my dream home would look like. probably will take me more than a decade to get there (plus I might change my mind along the years) but lets hope I get there someday.

2011 is half way gone. but in that other half to come so many things are to be done. I've been slacking on almost everything (even shopping) since school has been out and just being comfortable at home..but It's about time for me to get off my butt and start moving again! Time flies, and in that flying moments we need to make a difference..there shouldn't be "same old same old", every moment should count :) positive thinking: first step to success.

IRRESISTABLE

It has been awhile! I cannot even start to explain the amount of stress I've been getting and the almost implausible work experience I went and is still going through. It's like hell with a tiny bit of sarcasm.. but to make it literally like hell, my internet disconnected for over a week and finally yesterday, it came back on. So finally (I know I'm using the word "finally" a lot but really it's the only word that describes this very moment), right before my blog was about to sadly and unwillingly be abandoned I made time to do a post. Hurray to a day-off! I was supposed to do a posting on my Dreamy-Logo Iphone case but I'm going to just let that pass by since the draft is almost a month old and it wouldn't make sense to publish it now. But I will try to put some pictures on so you can see how adorable it is despite the fact that its just a piece of silicone :)

So, what this posting is really about is Raeburn pumps by Rag&Bone. Absolutely loved their runway pieces especially the flowy chiffon maxi skirt with black ribbons around the hip line...amazing. I recently adopted a new pair of pumps which I am very happy I did so after a long internal debate of "should i get it? should i not?" standing on a check out line. It's my first heels in a long long time and I'm trying to wear it every chance I get.I never wear and plan not to wear heels to school but these are hard to resist. So, I'm going to go on an unplanned, unnecessary shopping trip to downtown just so I can be in these perfectly olive heels. Equation of the day: shoes=love

SPRINGBREAK

It probably was the most stressful week of my life as far as I can remember. Work, work and more work was driving me insane when finally I had to end the tiring week with (literally) boiling soup dropped right on my leg. I got a second degree burn. What a great way to spend a spring break! I don't want to be all negative and upset but it definitely was the worst school break ever in the history of all histories. I try to find at least one positives out of all negatives and my conclusion is that I learned to appreciate time and realized that I have been taking time for granted. hmm..thinking like this makes me want to say that this spring break wasn't too bad after all..but then again I'm still angry at what happened so I'm going to stick with my first thoughts and call it officially the worst week ever!

Okay, so that was me venting.
Some good things happened too and I am very excited to share that..I finally ordered my iPhone case which was sold out for nearly a month! It was little bit pricey for a piece of silicon compare to the ones you can get on eBay for $5 but I would be very disappointed to watch it sell out again and realize its too late to regret of my stinginess. I will post about it when it arrives. I hope it's as cute as it looks on the screen.

xx

p.s. I hope you all had a wonderful spring break!
